Delete your Salud account

This page is for Salud: AI Health Coach & Bills (com.saludlove.salud), published by SALUD AI, LLC. It explains how to have your account and its data deleted, what gets deleted, and what we are required to keep.

Request deletion by email

You do not need the app, and you do not need to sign in anywhere. Email us and we will delete the account and its data for you.

Email info@salud.love

Send it from the email address on the account if you can, since that is the fastest way for us to confirm the request is really yours. If you cannot, write from any address and we will ask you a couple of questions instead. We acknowledge every request within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Or delete it yourself in the app

This starts immediately and needs no separate request. In the Salud app:

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under Security & Privacy, tap Data Management.
  4. Tap Delete Account, then confirm with Delete.

If the app asks you to sign in again first, that is a security check: sign in, then repeat the steps. Deletion runs straight away. In the rare case that an external search index is temporarily unavailable, its opaque identifiers are placed in an automated repair queue and removed when the service recovers, within the same 30-day completion window. There is no undo period.

If you only ever used Salud as a guest without creating a sign-in, that guest session is still an account on our side, and the same steps delete it.

What gets deleted

Both routes above do the same thing. We remove:

  • Your sign-in itself, so the account no longer exists.
  • Every profile on the account, including profiles you created for family members.
  • Documents and files you uploaded: bills, Explanation of Benefits, denial letters, verification documents, profile photos, and anything attached to a chat, including voice notes.
  • Your health coach conversations, and the AI memory built from them, including the underlying search embeddings.
  • Health and tracking data: journal entries, medications, health goals, coaching sessions, lab reports, diet entries, exercise logs and water intake.
  • Money and insurance records held on the account: expenses, savings goals, medical loans, insurance claims, tax records, and any cost submissions you made.
  • Case records: bill and report processing jobs, denial cases, recorded case outcomes and export jobs.
  • Account plumbing: settings, preferences, permissions, notifications, push tokens, referrals, and the analytics and health summaries tied to your account.

Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore an account or recover its data afterwards, so export anything you want to keep first, from Data Management in the app.

What we keep, and for how long

A small amount of information survives deletion. We are telling you exactly what, because you should not have to guess.

  • Security audit records: up to 7 years. We log that account actions happened and when, including the deletion itself, against the account identifier. These records let us investigate security incidents and meet regulatory obligations, and they are kept in a separate system from your health content. Archived copies of those logs are held on the same schedule.
  • Backups: a limited period. Routine encrypted backups can still contain copies of deleted data until they age out on their normal cycle. They are not used to restore a deleted account.
  • Anything the law requires us to hold. Where a legal, tax or regulatory duty requires retention, we keep only what that duty covers, for only as long as it requires. This can include transaction or entitlement records needed for accounting or dispute handling; operational usage counters and account-linked analytics are deleted.

We do not keep your data for advertising, and we never sell it. Our Privacy Policy sets out the full picture, and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy covers the extra rights people in Washington and Nevada have.

If you want written confirmation that a particular category is gone, ask for it in your request and we will confirm in writing.

Deleting some things without deleting your account

You do not have to choose all or nothing. Inside the app you can also:

  • Delete one profile. Profile tab, then Manage Profiles, then Delete on the profile you want gone. This removes that profile's chats, health metrics, conditions, medications and care data. Your default profile cannot be deleted while the account exists.
  • Delete all AI memories for a profile. Settings, then Security & Privacy, then AI Memory, then Delete all memories. You can leave AI Memory switched on afterwards.
  • Withdraw optional consents, including consent for AI processing, in Settings. Required consents cannot be withdrawn separately; deleting the account is how you opt out completely.
  • Delete individual records such as a single document, goal, medication, lab report, provider or insurance entry, wherever that record lives in the app.

If you are a parent or guardian

Salud is not available to children under 13. Where a teenager between 13 and 17 uses Salud with your consent, you can request deletion of their account and data the same way, using the email button above, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. See children and parental consent for how that works.

Questions

Email info@salud.love and a person will answer. If your account is in India and you want to raise a grievance rather than a request, write to grievance@salud.love.
